Microcool Technician

Candidate must be willing to work where needed and able to perform a wide variety of tasks with little to no supervision.

Primary Job Function
Job Duties:

• Housekeeping requirements and other company policies and work rules.
• Operates machines in Microcool such as but not limited to CNC milling, lathe and grinding, similar manual machines. Capable of making small adjustments when needed to maintain part tolerance.
• Using fixed and variable measurement equipment.
• Packaging and labeling product according to instructions.
• Performing routine cleaning and maintenance in the facility.
• Other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

• High School Diploma/GED
• Must be proficient in the following: Mechanically adept and able to troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues; able to observe safety rules.
• Plans stock inventory by checking stock to determine amount available; anticipating needed stock; placing and expediting orders for stock; verifying receipt of stock.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting production, BOM’s and drawings.

Training Requirements:

 
• Quality system Procedures and Work Instructions.
• 1 to 3 years’ experience in manufacturing is a plus. Must be able to read, write and comprehend English. Must be able to safely handle up to 50 pounds using a lifting device.
• Must adhere to all safety rules in force for the location you are in while performing your job responsibilities. This includes at a customer or supplier location.
• Must meet requirements for PPE in specific manufacturing areas when you are in those areas including safety shoes and safety glasses.
