Turbo-A is an internally ridged tube with a smooth external surface. The standard product contains 60 internal ridges which spiral through the tube at a specified angle. This product is normally supplied in level wound coils and is used in air conditioning and refrigeration equipment that uses applied fin coils for evaporators and condensers. Level Wound Coils A level wound coils is a long length of tube that is uniformly and tightly spooled in layers parallel to the axis of the coil. Normal weight standards for Wolverine level wound coils range from 130 lbs. (58.97 kg) to 250 lbs. (113.40 kg). Level wound coils are manufactured to ASTM B743. |
