Wolverine currently produces more than 200,000 pounds of Aluminum per year in various alloys and tempers. The most popular alloys are ASTM A93003, and A91100, produced to ASTM B483 specifications. In these alloys, Wolverine can manufacture outside diameters ranging from as 0.75" OD to as small as 0.03" OD with the wall thickness ranging from 0.l5" to as thin as 0.008". Most of these sizes can be provided in tampers ranging from O (soft annealed), through H-14 (half-hard) to H-18 (fully hard). Please refer to the attached table for the various sizes and tempers available. |

Aluminum Fabricated ProductsAs part of Wolverine's thrust into Fabricated Products, the abilities we possess for making various assemblies using copper like Finned Tube Coils and Bent parts have been extended to Aluminum. The ability to process the tubing to attain special sizes and shapes provides Wolverine with great flexibility in meeting your fabricated product requirement. In addition, since we draw in-house we do not run into quantity requirements that most fabricated parts manufacturers face when trying to obtain their tubing requirements. It also enables us to serve you, our customer with reduced lead times and insulate you from the vagaries of the Aluminum market which can cause supply disruptions.
Our capabilities for Aluminum fabrication include various options for end finishing of tubing including bending, end expansions, beading, and end fittings. In addition to alloys that we draw in house, we also provide fabricated products in other widely utilized alloys like A96061, A95052, and other customer specific alloys. In using these alloys, we can leverage our relationships with our existing suppliers to provide the same benefits as we do with our drawn products. Aluminum assemblies fabricated by Wolverine find usage in airflow sensors in air handlers, gas connection lines with multiple bends and in serpentine heat transfer coils. Banking on the technical foundation of our tubing group, our engineering and technical support staff provides the ability to integrate your design with our capabilities.
