Wolverine Tube has leveraged its proprietary Micro-Deformation Technology (MDT) tooling to initiate innovative Micro-Cool surface geometries which enable miniature heat exchangers to cool down electronic devices. Wolverine's Micro-Cooling Division is pioneering new ground with small, efficient cold plates for electronic cooling, evaporation and condenser surfaces.

The MDT process enables a five to ten time expansion of the heat exchange area on the cold plate's surface. This allows OEM and Tier One electronic cooling system suppliers to dramatically improve the heat transfer efficiency, size and cost effectiveness of the thermal solution in an electronic industry that is always seeking to placate Moore's Law for ever faster process speeds and reduced package size.
